Why I use acrostics method

It occured to me the letters at the beginning of each line had no meaning. The first I wrote was called LOVE IS COOL; emphasizes visually the meaning without saying the words when reading. Started to use this method for names places and events anything you care to name.

I later found the background to this method:-

ACROSTIC, short verse compositon that the initial letters of the lines taken consecutively form words. The term is derived from the greek words akros, "at the end" and stichos, "line", or "verse"

The word was first applied to the prophecies of the Erythranean Sibyl, which were written on leaves and arranged so that the initial letters of the leaves always formed a word.
